About The Mix
Another Monday and another
Mondayjazz present in shape of a mix. This time it's
Holding It Down by Bene. It's plausible that even lovers of industrial music could find in it a couple of moments suitable for them. Such conclusion is inspired by the drone, which starts the compilation and sneaks into it's later progression, and a vocal reminding of Current 93. Another strange and interesting aspect of the mix is it's structure. Post industrial drones are being replaced by tracks of such rap celebrities like
Jay-Z or
Nas, decaying darkness becomes into bumping party, dancehall flavours turns into a soft singinging... So it's quite mysterious work from a mysterious author.
