About The Mix
Japanese Gourme
"Do You Know the Tenjin St" created, selected and mixed by Japanese hip hop/future jazz projects Olive Oil and Soloal-One is a two part compilation of "high creative" jazz and space beats music.
It is an interesting work to open a new breed of Japanese beats. The jazz is taking a very important part at this work. The other side of it is more twisted and bizarre, more electric, reminding an honorable school of "Warp" records.
The mood of the record is varying from ignorance of a dark grey working man routine to optimistic and utopian "future perfect" tones.
It is not an easy piece, but we believe, that true and devoted music lovers will appreciate it.
